Upgrades to the nbn® network help deliver social impacts across Australia in FY24

Research commissioned by NBN Co and prepared by Ember Advisors reveals that access to nbn-enabled fast broadband has had a positive impact on individual wellbeing. The nationally representative results also look at impacts on three target groups, regional and remote Australia, low-income and First Nations people.

The research examines impact on an individual’s satisfaction with life along with impacts across employment and income, education and skills, health, social and community connection, and environment in FY24. Respondents were asked to consider the way they use the internet and the impact of their home internet use over the previous 12 months.
