Mayfair Property Management

The nbn® broadband access network was an instrumental factor in bringing entrepreneur Lauren Allingham’s business idea to life.

Growing up in one of the most liveable cities in the world, Lauren always had a love for Melbourne - so it made sense for her to start a property management company in her own backyard.

Teaming up with her father Leigh, they spotted a gap in the level of customer service being offered in the industry - Mayfair Property Management was born. When they’re loading up property listings and images, being quick and efficient is the key – and that’s where they’ve found their service over the nbn access network really useful. With the right cloud-based systems, they can now provide exceptional service to all of their customers – something that differentiates them from their competitors.

Unique data and telecommunication solutions

Many businesses have special needs, particularly when it comes to data and communication. If you need to upload and download large amounts of data on a regular basis, make sure you chat to your service provider about business grade upload and download speeds.

Next level support

If your business is like Mayfair Property Management and it’s critical that you remain online too, always be certain your provider has an enhanced Service Level Agreement (eSLA) in place with your bundle/package. This is designed to ensure a timely restoration of your service in the event of it going down and impacting your business.

Choosing the right speed.

Your speed will be affected by factors including the technology over which services are delivered to your premises. Talk to your provider about the speed tiers available in your area. You should also talk to them about the actual speeds you can expect to experience when you switch to an nbn™ powered plan – particularly during peak times like the evening.

Prepare your business for the switch

Is your business ready for the nbn™ access network? To help prepare you for the switch, use our handy checklist to tick off important items, determine which services and equipment may be affected, and find out what you need to do next.

*
nbn is a provider of wholesale speeds to service providers. Your experience, including the speeds actually achieved over the nbn network, depends on the nbn access network technology and configuration over which services are delivered to your premises, whether you are using the internet during the busy period, and some factors outside our control (like your equipment quality, software, broadband plans, signal reception and how your service provider designs its network). Speeds may be impacted by network congestion on nbn’s Fixed Wireless network, including during busy periods. Satellite users may experience latency. nbn wholesale speed tiers available to your provider vary depending on the access technology in your area.
