What's happening: Over the past 40+ years, Sheepvention has grown into a vibrant, family‑friendly event celebrating the many facets of the agricultural sector. More than an industry showcase, Sheepvention educates and inspires people of all ages, fostering a deeper appreciation for farming and its role in our lives. NBN Local will attend Sheepvention on 2–3 August at the Hamilton Showgrounds, supporting farmers, families and businesses to Check Your Address (CYA), understand available nbn upgrades, and build connectivity and digital literacy to support everyday needs and resilience in rural communities. What's happening: Farm World is Victoria’s premier regional agricultural field day and lifestyle event, held annually at Lardner Park in Lardner, near Warragul in the Gippsland region. Spanning 100 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibits, the three-day festival attracts over 40,000 visitors and hundreds of exhibitors. Key features and attractions include: Agriculture & Machinery: Cutting-edge farming technology, heavy machinery, and equipment displays. Animals: Cattle judging at "Cattle Corner," sheepdog trials, and interactive displays like walking alpacas.
