- Workforce – Our established construction and delivery partners, along with their skilled teams, are ready to work in these areas following the completion of our network's initial build.

Customers on Fibre to the Node (FTTN) or Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) technologies in selected areas may qualify for an upgrade to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) with plans based on our eligible higher wholesale speed tiers^.
The technician will install your Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) connection alongside your existing Fibre to the Node (FTTN) or Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) connection.
Confirm with your FTTP provider that your new service is operational. You may need to arrange the transfer of services from your original FTTN or FTTC connection to the new FTTP setup.
We recommend checking with your original provider that your plan on your previous technology has been cancelled to avoid being charged for both services. Your provider can assist you with this process.
Unless you cancel your original service, it will remain active. If nbn decides to turn off the original technology at your location, they will notify your phone and service provider in advance.
To upgrade to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), eligible customers need to order and purchase a plan from a participating phone and internet provider based on our eligible higher wholesale speed tiers.
For a business-grade installation this will include needing to take up additional qualifying products such as nbn Business Service.
Additional costs may arise depending on factors like the complexity and type of your building. Providers might pass these charges onto their customers. We suggest contacting a participating provider to discuss any potential costs involved.

*Wholesale speeds quoted are not end user speeds. They represent the maximum speeds nbn provides to internet providers. Your experience (including speeds) depends on factors such as your nbn® access technology, chosen internet provider, configuration over which services are delivered to your premises, internet plan, usage during busy periods, your equipment, setup and number of concurrent online devices at your premises. nbn Business ~ 1000 Pro: Regardless of the retail service you purchase, the actual wholesale download speeds delivered to providers will be less than 1Gbps due to equipment and network limitations. nbn Business 2000 Pro: Service availability (including timing) will depend on phone and internet providers offering this plan, and is subject to service qualification and only available where network capacity permits.
^Conditions, eligibility criteria and costs will apply – please speak with your preferred provider. Eligibility criteria includes among other things, being designated by nbn as a simple premises and placing an order for an nbn powered plan based on an eligible wholesale speed tier. Additional costs may apply to providers, who may choose to pass this charge onto their customers.
†Not all providers offer plans based on the full range of wholesale speed tiers. Talk to your preferred provider for more information about availability and the right retail solution for your needs.
+nbn Business Service is not available on the nbn Fixed Wireless or satellite network. Not all providers offer plans based on the full range of wholesale nbn business products, product features and services and availability depends on your access technology and area.
