Severe weather impacting New South Wales and Queensland
13 November at 9:40am
- The severe weather impacting New South Wales and Queensland has now eased. We are aware of approximately 170 nbn™ services still impacted across both states. This includes services in Bingara and Warilla, NSW, as well as Margate and Booral in QLD.
- While power outages continue to affect some of those services, where network damage and service faults have been identified, we have crews working this weekend to restore services safely and as quickly as possible.
- As we expect services to be reconnected soon, this will be the final update. We encourage you to check the status of your service on our Network Status page. If there is no outage displayed and you are still without service, please contact your phone and internet service provider. The provider will raise a case allowing us to identify the cause and work to restore the service safely and as quickly as possible.
- nbn will continue to monitor flood warnings across both states and has nbn™ Road Muster Trucks, generators and other temporary infrastructure at the ready to further assist additional communities affected in the coming days.
