nbn announces Cyclone Relief Funding in response to Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred

In response to the impact of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, nbn is providing Cyclone Relief Funding for nbn Retail Service Providers (RSPs).


A total of up to $7 million in Cyclone Relief Funding will be made available to eligible RSPs, which can then be used to provide financial support to those whose nbn services were impacted by the severe weather caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

nbn encourages anyone who is impacted to contact their RSP directly to find out about the support available and the steps they need to take to benefit from the relief package.

nbn is working closely with RSPs to ensure they have the necessary information to guide their customers through the process and receive the assistance available.

At the same time, nbn is working closely with local authorities to minimise disruption on the nbn network and restore services as quickly as possible. The health, safety and wellbeing of our people, partners, community and customers is our top priority.
